Memory Search was built because I wanted a simple, fast, and easy-to-use tool to document important AI conversations. Previously, copying from an AI chat resulted in broken tables, lost syntax highlighting, and flattened formatting. Rich output was reduced to plain text that was hard to read and harder to find.
Memory Search is an AI-first note-taking app. A deliberate design goal was that the app be powerful in its simplicity.
It is new, and it works. Copy-paste from ChatGPT, Claude, Kimi, DeepSeek, Gemini, Qwen—whatever AI you use. Your formatting stays intact. Your data stays local in your browser. No servers. No tracking.

Click the + button in the sidebar. Start typing. The first line becomes the title automatically — no separate naming step.
Type # Your Title then press Enter. Use ## for sub-headings. The space after # is required. This is standard markdown — the format AI tools use natively.
Copy AI output, conversations, from ChatGPT, Claude, Kimi, Deepseek, Gemini, Qwen. Paste into the editor. Tables, code blocks, bold text, lists — formatting is preserved.
Use the search bar in the sidebar. Search across all your notes instantly. Results appear as you type.
Click Save when you're done. Export as Markdown or JSON anytime from the settings. Your data never leaves your browser.
💡 iPhone tip: Tap Share → Add to Home Screen to install the app. This keeps your notes safe — Safari can clear browser data after 7 days, but installed PWAs keep your data permanently.
